Obituary of Anna Marie Wood

Wood, Anna Marie, (nee DeSimone), "Granny Annie" "Foxy Anne" age 90 of Bloomingdale at rest in Bloomingdale on March 22, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Edward Wood (2015). Loving mother of Linda Schipman and her husband Richard of Bloomingdale, Debra of Wayne and Edward Wood Jr. of Vernon. Mother in law of the late Sharon Wood (2022). Dear grandmother of Richard, Kym, Lauren, Nicole, Samantha, Sandra, Thomas, Danielle and Edward III. Great grandmother of seven. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Born in Paterson, she lived in Wayne for most of her life before moving to Bloomingdale five years ago. She was a Homemaker. Anna Marie enjoyed trips to Atlantic City to play her slot machines. She always played BINGO at the Wayne P.A.L. every Friday night. She enjoyed the Jersey Shore and the boardwalk. She was a great Italian cook and baker. Anna Marie cherished time spent with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Friday, March 25, 2022 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
