Bob was a colleague of mine at Merck. We became friends and would occasionally grab a drink together after work, mulling over all the issues of the day - both big and small. I recall Bob was always up for an adventure. He once joined me and some friends to hike a portion of the John Muir trail in Yosemite, which was an amazing journey. He was always engaging, insightful, and a true gentleman. Rest in Peace my friend.
