Fanslau, Elsie (nee Campbell) age 82 of Virginia Beach at rest in Virginia Beach on February 16, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Fred Fanslau (1984). Loving mother of Frederick J. Fanslau and his wife Glenda, Thomas H. Fanslau and his wife Cindy, David M. Fanslau and his wife Carol, Nancy Madera, and Cynthia J. O' Neil and her husband Joe. Dear grandmother of Jennifer, Joe, Nicholas, Kristyn, Alexa, Vanesa, Jennifer, Adam, William, Ryan, Meghan, and Emily. She was predeceased by her great- grandson, Andrew. She is survived by twelve great-grandchildren. Born in Paterson, she lived in Totowa most of her life before, moving to Chesapeake, VA. She was a secretary for North Jersey Developmental Center, Totowa, before retiring. She was a member and past matron of the Eastern Star, Ridgewood. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Saturday at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. Friends may call Friday 7:00 - 9:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
