Gentile, Laura V. (nee Lorusso), age 80 of Paterson at rest in Paterson on January 14, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Gregory Gentile (2003). Loving mother of Gina Trewhella and her husband Todd, Joseph Gentile and the late Frank Gentile (2013). Dear grandmother of Brianna and Lia Trewhella. Sister of Rosetta Faniuolo, Elena Lorusso, Lino Lorusso, Silvano Lorusso, Alex Lorusso, John Lorusso and the late Rita Lorusso, Nina Lorusso, Gino Lorusso and Domenico Lorusso. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Born in Bari, Italy, she came to the United States and resided in Paterson. She was a Homemaker. She also worked at Marcal, Elmwood Park, then Daffy's, Wayne for twenty years before retiring. Mrs. Gentile loved to cook and spend time with her family. She was an avid animal over. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Thursday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Gerard R.C. Church, Paterson at 10:00 AM. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may visit Wednesday 4-8 PM.
