Obituary of Vincenza Cicerchia

Cicerchia, Vincenza (nee Perrupato), age 100 of Upper Saddle River at rest in Woodcliff Lake on November 26, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Luigi Cicerchia (2016). Loving mother of Catherine Modugno and her husband Biagio of Hohokus, Theresa D'Anza and her husband Michael of Upper Saddle River, Raphael Cicerchia of Riviera Beach, FL. and the late Anthony Cicerchia (2018). Dear grandmother of eight and great grandmother of twenty one. Sister of the late Giuseppe Perrupato (1973). Mother in law of the late Theresa Angotti (2015). Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Born in Sala Consilina, Prov. di Salerno, Italy, she came to the USA in 1959 settling in Paterson and West Paterson before moving to Waldwick in 2014 and Upper Saddle River recently. She was a Homemaker. Mrs. Cicerchia was also a Seamstress for various companies in Paterson. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Michael R.C. Church, Paterson. She was a member of the Italian American Independent Club, Totowa. She was a great cook and enjoyed traveling to Italy. Vincenza cherished any time spent with her grandchildren and her family. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Thursday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. John's Cathedral, Paterson at 10:00 AM. Entombment to follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may visit on Wednesday from 4:00-8:00 PM.
