Obituary of Anthony J Balloutine
Balloutine, Anthony James of Totowa at rest in Hackensack on November 23, 2021. Born in Ridgewood, he lived in Totowa for most of his life. He ran the family business, BP Gas Station, Riverview Drive, Totowa. Devoted husband of Ashley (nee Van Winkle) Balloutine of Totowa. Loving father of Anthony Balloutine of Totowa, Talia Balloutine of Totowa, and Layla Balloutine of Totowa. Beloved son of Edward & Hajaleh (nee Musleh) Balloutine of Totowa. Dear brother of Jacqueline Balloutine & her children Joseph, Scott, Ryan and Christopher; Gina DeLuca & her husband Rory & children Rory, Mia, Ava, and Dante; and devoted brother and best friend of Police Officer Edward Balloutine of Totowa. Devoted son-in-law to James & Joelyn Van Winkle of Totowa and devoted brother-in-law to Matthew and Jaime Fullam and son Ryan and beloved nephew, cousin and friend to countless loved ones.
Devoted husband to the love of his life Ashley; she was the only woman he had ever brought home. They were inseparable from the moment they met and had 10 beautiful years together. Before Anthony met Ashley, he made a vision board of all the things he wanted to achieve and manifest in life; in it is a picture that looks just like Ashley; on his first date, he knew she was his soulmate.
Anthony’s dream in life was to have a big family and that dream was realized through Ashley and their three beautiful children; little Anthony, Talia and Layla. Anthony’s love for children and his desire to give back also inspired him to volunteer at the children’s cancer ward to play with children, ease their pain and keep them company. Anthony dedicated his life to his loved ones and always committed to giving back to his community.
Anthony was as funny as they come; he always had a smile on his face and it was usually due to the sarcastic remark he had waiting for you. He was handsome, charming, outgoing, hilarious, generous, kind, loving, selfless and incredibly loyal to friends and family. If you had a baby, Anthony was the first one to visit with flowers and gifts. If you were ill, Anthony would drop off food every day until he knew you were okay. Their home was the community hub; he loved to have his family and friends over to feast and watch the kids play. Everyone felt as if Anthony was their best friend and it’s because that is how he made you feel; you felt loved, special, understood and appreciated. Anthony was love in motion. His presence will live in our hearts forever.
