Antoinette Shadiack (nee Kalosieh) age 92 passed peacefully at Christian Health, Wyckoff, NJ on September 2, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Edward Shadiack Sr. Loving mother of Mariann and her husband David Glassberg, Dr Edward Shadiack Jr and his wife Ann, Stephen Shadiack and his wife Kathleen. Adoring grandmother of eight grandchildren: Karen Kabaki, Gary Kabaki and his wife Jessica, Dr Edward Shadiack III and his wife Dr Jennifer Gittleman, Dr. Anthony Shadiack and his wife Heather, Dr Victoria Shadiack and her fiance Troy Maphis, Jessica Shadiack and her husband Ryan, Stephen Shadiack Jr and his fiancee Michele Santamaria, and Thomas Shadiack and his wife Marissa. Dear great-grandmother of five great-grandchildren: Anthony Jr, Christopher, Edward IV, Jaxson, and Jason, as well as an aunt to numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces /nephews who all mourn her passing. Antoinette is also survived by her siblings: Mrs Gloria Marmo, Mrs. Violet Shackil, Mrs. Joan Zalfa, Ms. Beatrice Kalosieh, Mr George Kalosieh and his wife Marie, and Dr William Kalosieh and his wife Roselle. Born October 4, 1928 to Joseph and Mary (Nassaney) Kalosieh in Paterson, NJ, Antoinette was educated in its public school system, but had to leave before graduating to care for her six younger siblings due to a prolonged illness with her mother. Antoinette and Edward were joined in holy matrimony on May 2, 1948. After residing in Paterson for the first 37 years of their marriage, they moved to Seaside Park to be near their children. Her husband passed on July 4, 1997, several years after suffering a debilitating stroke. The most recent years of her life were enjoyed in Wesley Chapel, Florida. Cherishing each moment, she spent while residing with, and visiting her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her role as a Homemaker and caregiver, Antoinette also served as a sales representative and an administrative assistant at several major retail stores in New Jersey, After moving to Seaside Park, N.J. she was employed by the Borough of Seaside Park as the collector of tax, water and sewer. Her children send their love and a heartfelt thanks to her brothers, sisters, and relatives who visited her at Christian Health, along with sincere gratitude to the medical and ancillary staff who cared for her during her brief stay. A private wake for the immediate family will be held on Thursday September 9, 2021 at 9:30 am. Funeral services and Mass will be at Sacred Heart Armenian Catholic Church, 155 Long Hill Road, Little Falls, NJ with Interment at Calvary Cemetery, Paterson, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Association Greater New Jersey Chapter, 23 Vreeland Rd #105, Florham Park, NJ 07932, would be appreciated. A celebration of Antoinette's life will be held at a future date to be determined.
