Kelleher, Marcella (nee Trouse), age 86, passed away on July 26, 2021 in Lincoln Park. She was born in Paterson, NJ and was raised in Totowa Boro before moving to Little Falls, then Woodland Park. Marcella was predeceased by her loving husband of 43 years, Gerard Kelleher (2005). She graduated cum laude from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a BS in Business Management. She held a career in the human resources field for thirty years, and was Manager of Human Resources for Becton Dickinson Consumer Products in Franklin Lakes prior to retiring. While at Becton Dickinson, she received the Tribute to Women and Industry Award from the Ridgewood YWCA. Marcella was a parishioner of Holy Angels Church, Little Falls. She was a member of the Little Falls Alliance for a Better Community, the Democratic Club and the Senior Citizens Club. In addition, she was a member of the Essex Figure Skating Club and the US Figure Skating Association. She was inducted into the Paterson Old Timer's Association Hall of Fame for Speed Skating. She was an accomplished ice skater in speed, dancing and synchronized skating. She was the Eastern Regional, National and North American medalist in speed skating for several years in various age groups. She won many skating championships. Marcella was a national medalist at the Adult Masters Level in Synchronized figure skating as a member of the Essex Blades Synchronized Figure Skating Team. She was involved in ice skating for 70 years. She was the New Jersey State Cycling Champion and an avid downhill and cross-country skier for many years. Marcella was a member of the Little Falls Senior Citizens Advisory Board. Her former activities included: volunteer at St. Joseph's Medical Center, NJ State Certified Senior Health Insurance Program Counselor for Passaic County Senior Services (SHIP). Marcella was active in the American Cancer Society, Fund Raising Chairperson for Little Falls and Totowa Boro and Member of the Board of Managers for Passaic County. She was also predeceased by her parents Dominic and Marcella (nee: Henry) Trouse, and brothers Dominic and Robert Trouse. She is survived by her sister Rosemarie Trouse Goetsch of Sussex County, Sisters in law Patricia Trouse, Mary Kelleher and Margaret Kelleher, six nieces and nephews and 11 grand-nieces and grand nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Saturday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at Holy Angels RC Church, Little Falls at 9:30 AM. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may visit Friday 4:00 - 8:00 PM.
