Abanto, Maria Genoveva (nee Gonzales) age 96 of Freehold at rest in Freehold on May 5, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Nicholas Abanto. Loving mother of Esteban Abanto of Buena Park, CA, Elvira Linares of Miramar, FL, Adela Fernandez of Freehold, Amelia Abanto of Freehold, and Carlos Abanto of Freehold. Also survived by nine grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. Born in Lima, Peru, she came to the United States in 1976 and resided in Paterson, before moving Freehold. She was a Homemaker. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Monday at 12:00 PM. Interment to follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Monday 10:00 - 12:00 PM.
