Obituary of Giacomo Cappello

Cappello, Giacomo "Jack", 90 of Wayne passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on April 26, 2021. Born in Gela, Sicily, he came to the United States in 1953 after marrying the love of his life, Anna. Jack was a textile dye master at Trio Dye Works in Paterson, NJ for many years before retiring, but his real passion was numismatics as a long-time member of the American Numismatic Association. Above all, Jack loved his family. The dedicated father of Jack Cappello and his wife, Paula of Kinnelon and Daniel Cappello and his wife, Alice of Bloomingdale. Immensely proud Nonno of Dana, Tara, Cole, and William Cappello. Beloved brother Carmelo Cappello of Gela, Sicily. Adoring brother-in law of Salvatore "Sammy" Millis of Walpole, Mass. Caring uncle of Anthony and Christopher Millis. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Tuesday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 10:00 AM. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may visit Monday 4:00 – 8:00 PM.
