Amato, Caterina "Lina" (nee Mastropaolo) age 90 of Woodland Park at rest in Paterson on January 20, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Francesco "Paolo" Amato (1971). Loving mother of Giusta Li Causi and her husband Attilio of Woodland Park and Joseph Amato and his wife Theresa of West Palm Beach, Fl. Sister of Rosario Mastropaolo and his wife Franca of Totowa and the late Concetta Gatto (2014). Dear grandmother of Dino Li Causi, Caterina Amato, Paul Amato and Stephanie Li Causi. Also survived by 8 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Born in Palermo, Sicily, Italy, she came to the United States in 1955 and lived in Bronx, NY before moving to Woodland Park for most of her life. She was a Seamstress for various coat companies. She was a parishioner of St. Bonaventure R.C. Church, Paterson. She was devoted to her family and will be greatly missed by family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Friday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Bonaventure R.C. Church, Paterson at 10:15 AM. Interment at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to the, National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd St., NY, NY 10016 (212-889-2210) would be appreciated.
