Amato, Joseph, Jr. age 42 formerly of Paterson on February 16, 2021. Beloved husband of Ana C. (nee Chavez) Amato of Orange. Loving Father of Caleb and Joshua Amato, both at home. Dear son of Maria Amato of Paterson and the late Joseph Amato. Brother of the late Biagio Amato. Born in Ridgewood, he lived in Paterson his entire life. Joseph was a United States Army veteran, serving in Afghanistan. He loved to play golf and play the guitar. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the services at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa on Friday at 10:00 AM. Entombment to follow at Laurel Grove Cemetery Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may visit Thursday 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family to assist with his children would be appreciated.
