Obituary of John Young

Young, John age 74 of Saddle Brook at rest in Paramus on December 30, 2020. Dear son of the late Fred and the late Mary (nee Farrell) Young. Brother of the late Fred Jr., the late Charles, and the late Robert Young. John is survived by his good friends, Ron Diello and Elton Eckstrom as well as nieces and cousins. Born in Paterson, he lived in Paterson, then in Elmwood Park, then Washingtonville, NY before settling in Saddle Brook. Mr. Young was the owner of Saddle Brook Barber & Beauty Supply, a wholesale and retail enterprise with stores in Saddle Brook and Monroe, NY for over 10 years. He was employed by the Oradell Board of Education/Oradell Public Schools for 15 years before retiring. He also worked in the Paterson and Ridgewood school systems and was employed by the Fair Lawn Transportation Company. John also worked as a retail store manager at one point of his life. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at Fairlawn Memorial Park on Friday at 11:30 AM. Interment to immediately follow.
