Montanez, Ana I. (nee Garcia-Lebron), age 84 of Wayne at rest in Wayne on May 27, 2020. Beloved wife of the late Ruben Montanez (2017). Loving mother of Iris Carcich of Emerson, Naomi Montanez of Belle Mead, Ana Viera of Wayne, Maria Montanez of Arizona, Ruth Maine of Kathleen, GA and the late Ruben Montanez (2016) and the late Kim Roman (1987). Also survived by 19 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Born in Maunabo, Puerto Rico, she came to New York in 1952 and moved to Paterson in 1986.
She was a Minister at Rosa de Saròn, Paterson. Ana was a pastor's wife and a founding member and minister of Christian Assembly of God, New York, NY. To comply with social distancing due to the Covid-19 pandemic, all services for Ana will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
