Eswood, Louis J age 89 of Paterson at rest in Parsippany on December 18, 2013. Beloved husband of the late and former Frances K. Mascellino (2008). Loving father of Louis Eswood and his wife Nancy of Parsippany and Mary Ann Wiarda and her husband Pete of Green Pond. Dear grandfather of Louis III and his fiancée Alyssa Koehn, Brian, Brooke, Megan, and Tara. Dear brother of Emily Albano of Elmwood Park. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Born in Paterson, he lived in Paterson for most of his life. He was a Letter Carrier for the U.S. Postal Service, Paterson Post Office for many years before retiring in 1985. Mr. Eswood was a parishioner of St. Brendan's R.C. Church, Clifton. He was a WWII Navy Veteran serving in the European Theater. He was a member of the American Legion, John Raad Post #438, Paterson. He was a very faithful husband to his wife of 58 1/2 years, Frances. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Saturday at 8:45 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Brendan's R.C. Church, Clifton at 9:30 AM. Entombment at Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, Paterson. Friends may visit Friday 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's and Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN. 38105 and/or the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
