Serop was a kind man, he was quiet but once you got to talk to him he would make you laugh with his funny stories. Most of all he was proud of being Armenian and would do anything to make sure everyone knew about Armenians and their achievements. Just a week before he died he called me twice in a row to tell me (or order me) persistently to gather a crowd and present our protest to our senator to raise our voice about the Armenian Genocide and send a letter to our President. He was one that did so many charities without bragging. We will miss his quiet and steady voice reminding us that we are Armenians and need to raise our head high everywhere we go! Rest in peace uncle Serop - (Varoujan, Vicky and Andrew Tinkjian)

Serop was a very dear friend for most of my life and he will be dearly missed, he was always thoughtful, jovial and kind, he loved life and lived it to the fullest, he put all his might in anything he did whether with friends or at work, we had wonderful and unforgettable times together thru the years which you can only share with a very good friend.
I offer my condolences to all his family especially his wife the partner of his life
