Obituary of Anthony Tirinato

Tirinato, Anthony age 88 of Toms River at rest in Toms River on October 20, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Josephine D. Tirinato. Loving father of Loree Griffith and her husband Drew of Asbury and Jody Zelin and her husband Mike of Plainsboro. Adoring grandfather of Leanne and Brett Griffith. Dear brother of Vincent "Jim" Tirinato and his wife Julie and Marion Clark and her husband Jim. Loving nephew of R.J. Andreano. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins. Born in Totowa, he lived in Clifton, then Wayne before retiring to Toms River 20 years ago. He was a Deputy 1st Assistant Prosecutor for Passaic County for 27 years before retiring. Prior to that he was a township magistrate for the borough of Totowa and he was also an Army veteran having served in the Korean War. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Wednesday at 8:45 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James RC Church, Totowa at 9:30 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Tuesday 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Dr. Tampa, FL 33607 or St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, would be appreciated.
