Obituary of Vincenzo Mancini

Mancini, Vincenzo age 82 of Totowa at rest in Paterson on July 19, 2017. Beloved husband of the late and former Maria LePore (1997). Loving Father of Gaetano Mancini and his wife Karen of Wayne, Salvatore Mancini and his wife Nicolle of Totowa, Panfilo Mancini and his wife Fabiana of Hasbrouck Heights and the late Antonio Mancini (1999) and the late Antoinette Mancini (1966). Dear grandfather of Daniella Mancini, Alyssa Mancini, Salvatore Mancini, Jr., Joseph Mancini, Vincenzo Mancini, Antonio Mancini and Diego Mancini. Brother of Maria Sorace of Totowa, Anna Trezza of Totowa, Violet Lorenese of Woodland Park and the late Elisa DiLisio. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Born in Pacentro, Prov. di Abruzzi, Italy, he came to the U.S.A. in 1954 settling in Paterson before moving to Totowa in 1976. He was a Baker for Minardi Bakery, Paterson for ten years before retiring. Prior to that, he was a baker for Verp's Bakery, Haledon and Lazzara Bakery, Paterson. Mr. Mancini was a member of the Pacentro Club, Paterson. He enjoyed making homemade wine and tending to his garden. He loved to cook and make homemade pasta and sauce. He was an avid international soccer fan. He frequented area casinos. He cherished time spent with family and his grandchildren. He never missed a game or an activity of theirs. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Saturday at 8:45 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 9:30 AM. Entombment at Laurel Grove Memorial Park Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may visit on Friday from 4:00 - 8:00 PM.
