Obituary of James Gary Nicholas

Nicholas, James Gary age 73 of Paterson at rest in Paramus on June 12, 2017. Loving father of Lisa Nicholas of West New York. Dear brother of Raymond Nicholas and his wife Dianna of Hawthorne, August Barry Nicholas and his wife Mary Ann of North Haledon, Michael Nicholas of Wanaque, and Gary Nicholas of Wanaque. James is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins. Born in Paterson, he lived in Paterson, then in California for 12 years before moving back to Paterson. He was a Boiler Man for the County of Passaic for over 25 years before retiring in 2009. James enjoyed fine food, fine wine, jazz music, and his trips to Atlantic City with his buddies. Cremation was private at Cedar Lawn Crematory, Paterson. In memory of James, donations can be made to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, 3401 Civic Center Blvd. Philadelphia, PA 19104.
