Am just now learning Ray has passed away. I offer my most sincere condolences to his family.
As a retired executive from GMAC, Ray and I were business
associates for several years. Ray was a highly respected, trustworthy, and magnanimous individual. His affable personality
was incomparable within and among his peers. Many of you know Ray's sense of humor was larger than life. His stories and incantations to "Allah" during
our frequent rounds of golf at Spring
Lake, the Breakers, and Upper Mpntclair CC often left me in stitches. It was ALWAYS a well spent and FUN afternoon with the "Arab"
When I retired in 2000, Ray was the one business associate I missed most. Knowing now that he is gone, I am certain Ray's beacon is shining brightly from someone else. Rest in peace, Ray. I will remember you often.

I am so honored that I met Ray and Mary when they visited Lexington and experienced the spontaneous joke telling to all those within the immediate vicinity. He brightened everyone's day. My condolences to Mary and his family, especially my amazing friend Suzanne, her boys Emmet and Leland and her husband Adrian.

We are so saddened to hear of Ray's passing. He will be remembered as a kind hearted individual who treated everyone with great respect. He was a good friend to my grandfather, Ken, in their younger years. As my grandfather's health & memory continue to decline, on occasion he will make the comment "I wonder how Ray is." That is how memorable a person Mr. Maroon was. God Bless you, Ray. May you be at peace.
