Gruppo,, Jacquelyn (nee Gilligan), "Na Na" age 71 of Miami, FL., formerly of Paterson, at rest in Miami on January 12, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Gruppo (2006). Loving Mother of April Sandra Martinez and her husband Marcos of Miami, FL., John Gruppo and his wife Ruth of Hawthorne and the late Nancy Semmel (2015). Loving mother in law of Mark Semmel of Wayne. Dear grandmother of Chayce Martinez, John Gruppo and his wife Sara, Frank Semmel and his wife Josephine, Mark Semmel and his wife Jennifer, Jamie Gruppo and Paul Gruppo. Adoring great grandmother of Eight. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews as well as her beloved pet dog, Mia. Born in Scranton, PA., she lived most of her life in Paterson before moving to Miami in 2015. She was a Bookkeeper for Stop & Shop Supermarkets, Waldwick for many years before retiring in 2009. Mrs. Gruppo volunteered for the Cadets Drum & Bugle Corps, Bergen County for many years. Her biggest passion was watching her grandson Chayce play baseball. She enjoyed traveling and she was a fan of the Miami Heat and the N.Y. Giants. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Wednesday at 10:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Gerard R.C. Church, Paterson at 10:30 AM. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum, Totowa. Relatives and friends may visit Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
