Certainly a man who touched many lives in his short life. He obviously connected with many of his students at Brookside and was fortunate to be able to reconnect with many Allendale residents through Facebook. Rest In Peace Ed and may your loving spirit live on in your family, friends and former students' hearts.

A man who always had good intentions, looked to help people, and tried to make someone's day better. He and I will always have good memories from the days at Brookside to our seemingly endless Facebook debates. This unfortunate loss will leave a large hole in the community, but the positive and progressive impact will last an eternity. Goodbye old friend and God bless you.

My sincere sympathy to Michele and the family. I feel as though Ed has been my friend forever. We became very good friends only a couple years ago working together, but he knew everything about me. We talked endlessly on the phone all hours of the night & still never ran out of things to say! I will miss him dearly; his wit, intelligence, sincerity and determination. He also was a terrific listener. God watch over him now and may he rest in peace. I will miss him always.
