Obituary of Pavel Babec

Babec, Pavel, age 86 of Wayne at rest in Wayne on December 4, 2016. Beloved husband of the late Katica (nee Folja) Babec, who passed away on July 1, 2015. Loving father of Vasilije Babec and Sladjana of Paterson, and Victor Babec and his wife Maureen of Paterson. Grandfather of Paul Babec, Jasmina Gantt, and Petar Babec. Dear son of the late Vasilije Bota and the late Anastasija Babec. Born in Markovac, Yugoslavia, where he lived until 1962, then in France until 1966, before coming to the United States. He was a Machine Operator for Standard Dye and Finishing, Paterson for many years before retiring in 1995. Mr. Babec became a United States Citizen in 1993. He was an avid fisherman. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Tuesday at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa.
