Fant, Richard A. "Dick" age 78 of Berkley Township at rest in Toms River on May 20, 2016. Beloved husband of the late and former Joyce Durbin (2010). Surviving is the mother of his four children, Carol Fant. Loving Father of Kimberly A. Murphy and her husband Keith of Point Pleasant, Suzanne Stark and her husband Gregory of Woodland Park, Richard "Dick" Fant and his wife Leslie of Wayne and David Fant and his wife Ellen of Ortley Beach. Step father of Cheryl Tarsia, Amy Keiffer and Joelle Dudas. Dear grandfather of Jenelle Mingione, Michelle Campagna, Brittany Fant, Kyle Fant, Frank De Luca, Alexa Fant, Jaclyn Fant and David Fant. Great grandfather of Lucas Campagna and Landon Canpagna. Born in Paterson, he lived in Paterson, then in West Paterson before moving to Berkley Township in 2001. He was a Senior Marketing Rep. for PSE&G, Clifton for thirty seven years before retiring in 1995. Mr. Fant was a U.S. Marine Veteran. He was a Graduate of Seton Hall University with a MA in Business. He was a member of the American Legion Post # 351, Seaside Heights and a member of the V.F.W. Post # 7165, Clifton. He loved trivia games and was a football and baseball fan. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Thursday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at Our Lady of Pompeii R.C. Church, Paterson at 10:00 AM. Interment at Calvary Cemetery, Paterson. Relatives and friends may visit Wednesday 4-8 PM.
