Brian, I can't believe this happened. Friday we were still messing around about meeting up this week and talking about our fears for the future. even though we didn't get to hang out that much, we were always in touch. I can't thank you enough for caring about me and for being my friend in all those times I needed someone. I wish I could just finally wake up and this nightmare will be over. I am missing you so much and I can't believe how much my heart hurts. I'm sending all my thoughts and prayers to your family and hope that they will find comfort in the fact that we will meet again. Much love

I'm still in disbelief. you were such a good friend, and made a lasting impression on my family. you made it clear for the beginning that you care, that you're a true friend to be counted on. you never failed to come through for me and my family. you helped myself, and my sister on numerous occasions. Thank you for simply being a part of my life. - till we meet again xoxo

Brian, there is literally no way I could thank you for the amazing friendship you gave. We have been friends a very long time and I can't imagine you not being around. I'm going to miss our crazy talks and all the great times we had, you always knew how to make me laugh, or annoy me haha. My thoughts and prayers are with your family, as they are great people and have helped me in the past too. You are such a genuine and kind person I'm so thankful we were friends. It pains me to think I won't get to call you or see you anymore. I love and miss you brian rest in the sweetest peace my friend.

I have so many memories with Brian! Too many to count! Being best friends for over 10 years will do that! Some of my favorite memories are like the time we went to the drive in movies back in 2007. The Monte Carlo battery died so we watched the movie in silence. Or back in October I brought a friend up from NC and the only thing she wanted to see was the balto statue in central park. Brian took us there and it was probably the best day of my life. We walked around central park then walked through time square we had dinner at fridays. I was Brians third wheel on a date one time . we didn't like the girl haha. We laughed about how it would have been more fun if it was just the two of us. Brian and I had a deal that if we weren't married by 30 we would get married so we could just hang out all the time. We talked about it again last week laughing about how silly it was. I talked to Brian every night when I left work. It's extremely hard that I can not call him and talk about our days. If he liked a new girl he would send me her picture and tell me all about here! I would put my two cents in and tell him what I thought by what he told me. I live in a cabin on a lake and he would always tell me he would dress up like Jason and come scare me in the middle of the night. I miss him terribly. Brian will always hold a huge place in my heart! I wouldn't be who I am today with out him. Rest in peace my angel! I love you xoxo

My wife and I have fond memories of Brian growing up in West Milford.
His energy was boundless. He enjoyed so much being with his dad and the rescue dogs. Brian's wonderful sense of humor will always be remembered.

Our hearts are broken but we know this is not the end. We will see Brian's smiling face again. For now we have 27 years of happy memories and faith to get us through. Brian lived big and he would want us to remember the good times. He liked to pay it forward..pay it forward in his memory. It would be the best tribute to Bubba ever.

I am so sorry for your loss. I remember visiting him in valley hospital when he needed surgery. He attended my wedding and I have know him on and off for many years. We always seemed to keep in touch throughout the year. We went to elementary school together for a short time, then middle school and on to high school. He was a great friend to everyone. We were just recently talking about a trip to AC on a week night. I can't believe that this really happened to him. He has such a giving heart. I can't truly believe that this happened. We always joked about how he would be a doctor and then I would be the nurse working for him so that we could always see each other and have fun while at work. We talked about our schooling and many more things. I remember riding on the back of Brians' quad when he lived in west milford(in elementary school) and we would ride around the little circle by the drive way. Then he would set up the jump and scare the crap out of me. I remember us spending time jumping on the trampoline together and him asking me to be his girlfriend. I've known him for many years and I'm grateful we got the time we did together. I am going to miss him dearly.
