McAteer, Rita Frances (nee Barrows) age 82 of Wayne at rest in Paterson on April 26, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Donald McAteer (2001). Loving mother of Donald McAteer Jr. & his wife, Judith, Linda Iulo & her husband, Kenneth, Thomas McAteer & his wife, Donna, Patricia McAteer, James McAteer & his wife, Susan, Rita McAteer and Paul Rubestello, and William McAteer & his wife, Maria. Dear sister of Robert Barrows, Rosemarie Hewitt, Frances Frangipane, Bernadette Rallo and the late Thomas Barrows. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Born in North Arlington, she lived in Paterson for most of her life before recently moving to Wayne. She was a homemaker. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Friday at 10:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Gerard RC Church, Paterson at 11:00 AM. Interment at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Thursday 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 pm.
