Most enduring memory of Zio:
1982 World Cup soccer games at Zio Gerardo's house. Zio V was so nervous that he just paced up and down Ryerson Ave while the rest of us watched the games.
Only when he heard our screams of "Goooaal" would he stick his head in and ask "Che Successo?"
What a shame he had to miss the entire World Cup --- which Italy eventually won.
