Cianni, Carmela (nee Leone) age 76 of Hawthorne at rest in Hawthorne on January 8, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Santino Cianni (1981). Loving Mother of Rosanna Bianco and her husband Paolo of Hawthorne, Leo Cianni of Hawthorne and Fabrizio Cianni of Hawthorne. Dear Grandmother of Danny Bianco, Timmy Bianco, Val Bianco, Adelina Burgess, Ariella Cianni, Dahly Cianni, Alyssa Viscito, Michael Cianni and the late Santino Bianco. Dear Great Grandmother of Jaylen Massimo Burgess. Sister of Joe Leone of Hawthorne. Also surviving are five siblings, all living in Italy. Born in Cetraro, Prov. di Cosenza, Italy, she came to the U.S.A. in 1972 settling in Hawthorne. Mrs. Cianni was a Homemaker. She was a Parishioner of St. Anthony R.C. Church, Hawthorne. She loved her rose garden and watching her Italian soap operas. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Wednesday at 10:15 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Anthony R.C. Church, Hawthorne at 11:00 AM. Entombment to follow at Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, Paterson. Relatives and friends may visit Tuesday from 4-8 PM.
