I was away during the holidays and I just found out about Florence’s passing. To the family, I know that her leaving this earthly home brings sadness, so I send you my sincere condolences. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
I met Florence when she came to work at John F. Kennedy H. S. She was such a bright light amongst the secretarial staff. She would greet me with big hello, as I would sign into school and head to my classroom. Flo was such a sweet person and always had such a positive attitude. I could always count on a good laugh, when we had conversations over the “Office 1” counter. The memories I have of Flo bring a smile to my heart and I will fondly remember her.
