I was lucky enough to have Mrs. Andreano for both English and Spanish at Anthony Wayne. She was one of the best teachers I have ever had. I still remember many of her anecdotes. She was a wonderful rare person.

Mrs. Andreano was a great teacher. I remember her coming to our class at St. Bonaventure grammar school a few days a week. Then when I was in high school I took Spanish instead of French so that she would be my teacher. She was always so sweet. Rest in Peace Senora.

Aunt Rosemary was a true gem, a person treasured by all who have met her. If anyone was blessed with angle's wings it would be her. Some of my favorite childhood memories was our visits with Aunt Rosemary, Uncle Jim and the New Jersey Cousins. I remember...talks in the trailer while the men played cards late into the night, how she liked the Ohio sunset, and there was always a lot of fun when the whole gang was brought together. Her presence will be so deeply missed, but we know she is up in heaven with God. My prayer and thoughts are with you.
Our Sympathy,
Lisa, Tom, Sarah and Lauren Festi

My condolences to Sarah and her family. Grandmothers play such an important role in a girl...Woman's life. I'm sure "Nana" was a tremendous force in all the lives of her family. God Bless.

To all. I am so saddened to hear of Aunt Rosemary's passing. She was a kind woman who always had time to talk with everyone, no matter how busy she was. She always had nice and encouraging words to say. She had a gift of making you feel special as well. What I remember most is her welcoming me into her home every Sunday when I was visiting my grandmother "next door". She will be missed, but never forgotten. God bless her and her entire family. Love, Maryann

Dear Nana, I am happy you are with God now and resting comfortably in His hands, but the selfish part of me wants you back here on Earth just a little longer. Whenever I hear the word "Nana", a smile always follows on my face because there are only good memories of my Nana! You were present in both significant and insignificant events in my life and for that I will always be grateful. I remember our Sunday dinners, your most delicious meatballs and gravy, and the many sweets that followed and followed and followed! :) No one can forget your infamous birthday cakes with peaches, cherries, and cream, or your Angel food cakes that were special with the confetti dots, that we could only find in your homeland, Ohio! I remember sleep over parties that started with 5:30 Saturday mass at St. James and ended with a delicious breakfast at The Lantern or Pappy's Diner and maybe a flea market or two. I remember how you always had "Mousy coming" up our toddler arms and made every "boo boo" better with your "magic hanky"! I remember you leaving your cooking for a few minutes to always be a watchful member of our "fireplace" plays in your living room. That fireplace was also the cousin gathering place for all of our Halloween costume pictures and the building of our annual Christmas present towers! I remember shopping with you for my First Communion dress and giving you the worst time about the itchy "webby" sleeves and yet somehow you still convinced me to get it! I also hold dear to my heart the memories made at the trailer in Ohio, where many gathered for food, fun, and card games! I will never forget how much love and care you showed to all those around you, including every stray cat that crossed your path! You never turned a blind eye to your family or to any people or animals in need. I am grateful to have had such a wonderful role model and such a strong woman in my life. And I must add you are the only person I know who still looked great in an up-do (beehive) in 2013!! My wish for you now is that you feel nothing but peace, love, and happiness in Heaven. There is no doubt that you deserve it! You will continue to have all the love in my heart Nana! Watch over us until we meet again. I love you!

Dear Uncle Jim and Family,
A friend of mine who lives in Wayne just let me know that Aunt Rosemary has passed away. I want you to know from the bottom of my heart that I loved her more than you could possibly imagine. She was gracious, witty, and intelligent, just like the rest of your family. I hope that it gives you some comfort to know how many lives she touched. My heart goes out to all of you at this very sad time.
With much love,
Emily

My mom was an extraordindary woman, I have such wonderful memories of her. After we moved to Pennsylvania, my kids, Carolyn and Andrew Cutillo, and I loved to visit Nana's house. There were blanket forts and ice cream cones and a feeling that you were surrounded in love. We will miss her, but she will always be in our hearts.

Our favorite memory with Aunt Rosemary was visiting for Janice's wedding. Coming to New Jersey as the "Ohio" relatives we were made to feel so welcome! Sitting in her home visiting was exactly like sitting in Martha's home visiting . . . what a delight the two sisters were! Our thoughts and prayers to Jim and the New Jersey cousins . . . .
