Obituary of Michael J Roman

Roman Jr., Michael J. age 40 of Woodland Park at rest in Woodland Park on October 17, 2015. Beloved son of Louise (nee Riccardo) Roman and the late Michael Roman. Dear brother of the late Dawn Marie Roman. Dear cousin of Jennifer, Patsy, Adriane and Andrea De Simone and Zachary Sloan. Michael is survived by too many friends to list. Born in Passaic, he lived in Passaic, then in Clifton before moving to West Paterson (Woodland Park). He was the Owner of Sparta Flowers and Gifts, Sparta for the past five years. Prior to that, he was a bartender for the Surf Club in Ortley Beach, Rise in Lodi, Karma in Seaside Heights, and Doc's in Totowa. He was also a desk clerk for the Holiday Inn in Totowa for 10 years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Friday at 4:00 PM. Cremation will be private. Relatives and friends may visit Friday 4:00 - 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to the ASPCA at aspca.org would be appreciated.
