Claudia and family,
I was so saddened to learn just today of Doug's passing from my brother Bob. No doubt we had some memorable Passaic Valley reflections. Most of them involve that what Mustang with its venerable blue stripe, 289 V-I and stick shift. Like Doug, I've spent my entire life in government service (retired in June 2013 forty some years in the fire department). But as Job of ancient times mused, "Can an abled bodied man live again?" (Job 14:14). As Job hoped, so we too hope one day. (Acts 24:14)
Wishing you the best,
Bart and Lyn Wright 8/6/13

It is with a heavy heart that I said goodbye to a GREAT man in Doug Wright.... today's services were one of a kind and big Dougie would be humbled and proud to see his life's work be honored the way it was this morning!! God Bless Mr. Wright on a great life ... although I grew up just over ther river ... Totowa was a wonderful place and a great peice of our tri-boro community because of you. Your big laugh and even bigger hand shakes will never be forgotten - I wish you only peace for you and my friends, Keith, Craig/Kaci, Chris/Chelsea, and Momma Wright.

Dear Claudia, Keith, Chris & Craig, We are so saddened to hear of Doug's (your Dad's) passing and are more so that we cannot be there to say good-bye to a wonderful man. It was such a pleasure working with Doug at the Totowa PAL and the Football/Cheerleading programs. He was always there to lend a hand and do whatever he could for anyone who needed it. His heart was so big, and he shared it with everyone. Those are memories we will treasure always. Rest in peace, our friend~Judy & Charlie Del Rosso

Claudia and Family, Aunt Helen: Stephen and I are so sorry to hear about Doug. I think we last saw you at your house the weekend of Pat and Herbie's anniversary years ago. It was nice catching up then. Fond memories of parties and going out at night with the cousins ringing doorbells. I do remember Doug was such a nice guy. You are in our thoughts in prayers.

Dougie, I will never forgert and always remember you for your dedication and hardwork in making Totowa the place I was able to call home. There wasn't a time you didn't honk your horn as you drove by to say hi, whether I would be outside running, sitting on my porch at my house, or those occasional times I would be home to visit and you would see me at a traffic light. I know you be greatly missed of everyone who knew you especially your sons and your wife. I send my deepest sympathies to the Wright Family. I wish I could attend the services, but being out of state does not permit me to, my deepest regret and sincere apologies on that. Surely, your memory will be everlasting. It just seems so unreal. May you rest in peace Mr. Wright.
