Mc Carthy, George J. age 80 of Paterson, NJ at rest in Coaldale, Pa. on August 16, 2015. Beloved husband of the late Ethel (nee Pier) Mc Carthy and the late Rose (nee Stansfield) Mc Carthy. Loving father of Thomas Mc Carthy of Coaldale, PA, Bettie Conklin of Saddle Brook and the late George and David Mc Carthy. Dear son of the late George Vincent and the late Rose (nee Burns) Mc Carthy. Born in Paterson, he was a lifelong resident. He was a Municipal Employee for City of Paterson, Parks Department for 45 years before retiring. Mr. Mc Carthy was a member of the House of Fire Christian Church, Clifton. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the services at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Thursday at 10:30 AM. Interment to follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. Friends may visit Wednesday 4:00 -8:00 pm. For more information, go to www.festamemorial.com.
