Kanapelka, Anna (nee Stirpe) age 91 of Wayne, formerly of Paterson, at rest in Wayne on June 18, 2015. Beloved wife of the late George Kanapelka (2013). Loving Mother of Diane Fox & her husband George of Wayne. Dear Grandmother of Gregory Fox and his wife Mercedes of Wayne. Great Grandmother of Gregory and Brandon Fox. Sister of Olivia Curving of Clifton and Rose Obolsky of Passaic. Born in Paterson, she lived in Paterson for most of her life before moving to Wayne three years ago. She was an Assembly Line Worker for Shulton Inc., Clifton, for many years before retiring in 1986. Mrs. Kanapelka was a great baker. Her specialty was all sorts of cookies. She loved to be with her family and enjoyed hosting holidays. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Wednesday at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Paterson. Relatives and friends may visit Tuesday 4:00-8:00 PM.
