We are very good friends with Lucy's nephew Richard Rose and his family. While I never met Aunt Lucy, I feel like she was my Aunt also from all of the loving conversations that Rich and I had about her. About fifteen years ago, Richard and I decided at Easter time to bake Italian Easter pies. Of course, we needed to call Aunt Lucy to get her recipe. We not only got her recipe but called her continuously throughout our baking journey that day. Despite the probably five calls that day, she was most gracious in walking us through the exercise. Richard, Scott and I loved Aunt Lucy's recipe and ate the two big pies. Please accept our condolences and be assured that Aunt Lucy is with Scott, McKenzie and all her loved ones looking down from Heaven and protecting us.
