Finamore-Schumody, Dorothy M. (nee Shannon), age 89 of Totowa at rest at home on February 12, 2015. Beloved wife of her 1st husband, the late Michael Finamore and her 2nd husband, the late James Schumody. Dear mother of Michael J. Finamore and Gary J. Finamore both of Totowa. Cherished grandmother of Michael Finamore and his wife, Kathy, Brian Finamore and his wife, Kristen, Justin Finamore and his wife, Michelle, and Nico Finamore. Caring great-grandmother of Ella and Noah. Sister of Joan Hall of Clifton and the late Ruth Lowe. Survivors include her beloved pet grand dogs, Roxie and Abby. Born and raised in Paterson, she lived in Totowa for most of her life. She was a Beautician for Elegant in Clifton and later in Saddle Brook. She also worked as a Beautician for various health institutions in the North Jersey area before retiring. She was an avid bingo player. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a prayer service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Monday at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. Friends may visit Sunday 3:00 - 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
