Obituary of Stephen Szczomak

Szczomak, Stephen age 78 of Fairfield at rest in Livingston on December 25, 2014. Dear son of the late John and Stella (nee Gema) Szczomak. Loving brother of Michael Szczomak of Paterson and his companion, Theresa of Bloomfield, and John Schomach of Fairfield, formerly of Clifton. Caring uncle of John M. Szczomak and his wife, Jody of Paterson. He is preceded in death by his sister in law, Josephine Szczomak. Born in Paterson, he lived in Paterson then Clifton for most of his life before recently moving to Fairfield. He worked as a machinist for Kaysam Corp, Paterson, after that, he was a Doorman for Country Club Towers, Clifton. Mr. Szczomak was an Army National Guard veteran. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Wednesday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, Passaic at 10:15 AM. Interment at St. Michael's Cemetery, South Hackensack. Friends may visit Tuesday 7-9 PM only.
