Obituary of Raffaele Iacovo

Iacovo, Raffaele age 79 of Haledon at rest in Haledon on November 26, 2014. Beloved husband of the former Adela Antonuccio of Haledon. Dear father of Aldo Iacovo & his wife, Adrian of Mahwah and Rose Sciancalepore & her husband, Joe of Wayne. Loving grandfather of Anthony and Danielle Iacovo, Nikolette and Gabriella Sciancalepore. Caring brother in law of Michele Antonuccio & his wife, Palmina of Haledon, Adelina Occhiuzzi & her husband, Leopoldo of Woodland Park, Assunta Fiorello & her husband, Carlo of Italy and Ida Occhiuzzi & her husband, Salvatore of Italy. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Born in Cetraro, Prov di Cosenza, Italy, he came to the United States in 1969 residing in Paterson before settling in Haledon. Mr. Iacovo did mason work, then worked in a Dye House in Paterson before he was a Maintenance Worker for the Township of Wayne for 10 years before retiring. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Saturday at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Gerard R.C. Church, Paterson at 9:45 AM. Entombment at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. Friends may visit Friday 4-8 PM.
