Obituary of John J Topp

Topp, John "Jack" J. age 83 of Totowa passed away peacefully at the new Hospice of NJ, Wayne on August 4, 2014. Beloved husband of twenty-nine years to Lynn (nee Knapp) Topp. Loving father of David Topp and John Topp, Jr. Grandfather of Kristi, Amanda, and John, III. Step-father of Traci Simonton and her husband, Kevin Haight. Step-grandfather of Delaney. Born in Jersey City, he lived there, then in Brick Town before moving to Totowa twenty-nine years ago. He was a Printing Broker for Topplitho, NYC, NY for twenty years before retiring. Prior to that, he did photography for McCalls Magazine, NYC, NY. Mr. Topp was a security guard for different facilities around the Passaic County area. He was a member of the National Rifle Association. His interests were photography, computers, and target shooting. He enjoyed sail boats, motor boats and life at the Jersey shore. Cremation is private at the request of the family. Relatives and friends will be invited to a Celebration of Life at Totowa United Methodist Church, 105 Church St., Totowa on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 11:00 AM.
