D'Amelio, Anthony J. age 94 of Doylestown, PA, formerly of Totowa at rest in Doylestown on May 14, 2014. Beloved husband of the late Louise (nee Tomaselli) D'Amelio (1974). Loving father of Diane Mari and her husband Donald of Furlong, PA. Caring grandfather of Joshua and Maggie-lou. Dear brother of Ross D'Amelio of West Milford, Jennie Cranfield of New Orleans and the late Anne D'Amelio and Rose Vickerilla. Brother-in-law of Hughie Vickerilla and Susan Innocenti. Longtime companion of Monica Barwic. Also survived by various nieces and nephews. Born in Paterson, he lived in Totowa for most of his life before moving to Doylestown. He was the Co-owner/operator of Fava and Co., Paterson, for many years before retiring. He was a WWII Army veteran and recipient of the Purple Heart Medal. He was a parishioner of St. James R.C. Church, Totowa and a member of the Totowa Elks, Lodge #2111. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Saturday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 9:30 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Friday 3:00 -7:00 PM.
