Obituary of Domenico DeGennaro

DeGennaro, Domenico age 82 of Totowa at rest in Pequannock on May 6, 2014. Beloved husband of the late Grazia (nee Illuzzi) DeGennaro (2002). Loving father of Josephine DeGennaro of Totowa, Rose Marie Carr of Totowa, Margaret D'Ambrosio of Totowa and Michael DeGennaro of Morganville. Brother of Nicola DeGennaro of Toms River, Santo DeGennaro of Italy, Antonio DeGennaro of Secaucus, Elisa Scivetti of North Arlington and the late Vincent DeGennaro. Grandfather of Nicholas, Alexis, Giuliana, Francesca, Rachel and Sofia. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Born in Bari, Italy he came to the United States in 1956 and lived in West New York before moving to Totowa. He was a Steel Worker for National Standard, Clifton, for many years before retiring. He was a parishioner of St. James R.C. Church, Totowa. He was in the navy in Italy. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Friday at 8:45 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 9:30 AM. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may visit Thursday 4:00 - 8:00 PM.
