Zavala, Cesar of Wanaque at rest in Pequannock on January 25, 2005. Beloved husband of the late Hortencia (nee Chatter). Father of Mary Zavala, Hilda Gonzalez, Graciela Balta, Ana Cadena, Luz Zavala and Hortencia Vidal. Grandfather of the late Ricardo Vidal. Survivors include 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Friday at 8:45 AM. Born in Lima, Peru, he came to the United States in 1979 residing in Paterson before moving to Wanaque in 1998. He was a Golf Instructor in Peru before retiring. Preceeding him in death was: his wife: Hortencia (nee Chatter) Zavala And a grandson: Ricardo Vidal Survivors include: 6 daughters: Mary Zavala of Peru, Hilda Gonzalez of L.I., NY, Graciela Balta of Wanaque, NJ Ana Cadena of Ringwood, NJ Luz Zavala of Miami, FL Hortencia Vidal of Pompton Lakes, NJ Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
