Gallagher age 84 of Wayne died Sunday. Born in Paterson, NJ. he lived in Paterson for most of his life before moving to Wayne in 2003. He was a Firefighter for the Paterson Fire Department for 31 years retiring as a Captain in 1980. He was a WWII Army Air Corps Veteran having served as a Master Sergeant with the 451 Bomb Group in the 726 Squadron of the 15th Air Force in Italy. Survivors include his wife: The former Ilsa A. Bremer of Wayne, NJ. A sister: Marge Brautigam of Hawthorne, NJ. 2 brothers: Ronald Gallagher of Paterson, NJ. Alfred Gallagher of Tarpon Springs, Fla.
