Galante, Lucy (nee Rossi) Lucille of Whiting at rest in Toms River on June 12, 2003. Devoted wife of the lateVincent Jimmy Galante. Mother of Vincent Galante and Joan Gilberti. Sister of the late Mae Nucci and Joseph Rossi. Grandmother of Cheryl Gilberti, Lori Driscoll, Janine OHare, Chistopher Galante and Heather Galante. Great grandmother of Jessica, Peter, And Marissa Driscoll, Marina and Madison OHare and Amelia Galante. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Boulevard, Totowa, on Monday at 9:15 am. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Marys R.C. Church, Pompton Lakes at 10:00 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call Sunday 2-4 and 7 - 9 P.M. OBITUARY Lucy Lucille(nee Rossi) Galante age 88 of Whiting died Thursday. Born in Paterson, NJ she lived in Paterson before moving to West Milford 28 years ago then to Whiting 3 years ago. She was a Homemaker. Mrs. Galante was a member of the Pompton Lakes Nutrition Center at the Reform Church in Pompton Lakes, NJ. She was also a member of the Whiting Nutrition Center in Whiting, NJ. Preceeding her in death was her husband, Vincent (Jimmy) Galante, a sister Mae Nucci and a brother, Joseph Rossi. Survivors include: A son: Vincent Galante of Egg Harbor Township, NJ A daughter: Joan Gilberti of Whiting, NJ Also survived by 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Boulevard, Totowa is in charge of arrangements.
