Simonelli, Yolanda (nee Malano) age 89 of Wayne at rest in Wayne on May 15, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Michael A. Simonelli (1993). Loving mother of Annemarie Appleton of Wayne and Flavian M. Simonelli of Branchville. Cherished grandmother of Angel, Michael, Alex, Adrienne, Michael, and Luke. Caring great-grandmother of Arianna and Dean. Born and raised in Warwick, NY, she lived in Riverdale and upon her marriage to Michael, they moved and she settled in Wayne. She was a Homemaker. In her later years she was the Coordinator of Volunteer Services and a member of the Foundation Board for St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital for many years. Yolanda was an avid collector of antiques, particularly antique dolls. She was a published author in many antique journals and magazines. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Saturday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at Our Lady of the Valley R.C. Church, Wayne at 10:00 AM. Interment at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. Friends may visit Friday 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to Dr. Anthony J. Addeo Scholarship Fund, C/O St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital Foundation Board, 224 Hamburg Turnpike, Wayne, NJ 07470 would be appreciated. For more information, go to www.festamemorial.com.
