Brueckmann, William F. of Paterson formerly of Haledon at rest in Wayne on April 25, 2003. Beloved husband of 53 years of the former Claire A. Sawey. Father of William R. Brueckmann and his wife Deborah, Robert P. Brueckmann and his wife Elaine and Claire R. Brueckmann Herera. Grandfather of 8 and Great Grandfather of 6. He is the grandson of the former mayor of Haledon the late William Brueckmann. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Tuesday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Mary's R.C. Church, Paterson at 9:30 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call Monday 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 P.M. OBITUARY William F. Brueckmann age 75 of Paterson died Friday. Born in Paterson, N.J. he lived in Haledon before moving back to Paterson in 1950. He was a Repairman for Sunbeam Appliances, Ridgewood, N.J. for many years retiring in 1975. He was a WWII Army veteran. He was a parishioner of St. Marys R.C. Church, Paterson. Survivors include: His wife: Claire A. (nee Sawey) Brueckmann of Paterson, N.J. 1 daughter: Claire R. Brueckmann - Herera of Paterson, N.J 2 sons: William R. Brueckmann of Hewitt, N.J. Robert P. Brueckmann of Bayville, N.J. Also surviving are 8 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren. Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Boulevard, Totowa is in charge of arrangements.
