Ablahani, Elias of Paterson at rest in Wayne on April 2, 2003. Devoted husband of the late Dorothy (nee Potter) Ablahani. Father of Lew T. Ablahani and Julie Ann Pasadova. Brother of Anna Hallock and Mary Rigoloso-White. Also survived by 2 grandaughters and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Boulevard, Totowa, on Saturday at 8:45 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Brendan R.C. Church, Clifton at 9:30 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call Friday 7-9 P.M. only. OBITUARY
Elias Ablahani age 82 of Paterson died Wednesday. Born in West Paterson, NJ he lived in Paterson most of his life. He was a bosun for Grace Cruise Lines, New York, N.Y. for many years before retiring in 1982. Mr. Ablahani was WWII and Vietnam Army Veteran. He was a member of the American Legion and VFW and also a member of F&AM. He was predeceased by his wife Dorothy (nee Potter) Ablahani and by 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
Survivors include:
one daughter: Julie Ann Pasadova
one son: Lew T. Ablahani
2 sisters: Anna Hallock of Wayne, NJ
Mary Rigoloso-White of Fairfield, NJ
Also survived by 2 grandaughters and several nieces and nephews.
