Born in Paterson, N.J. she lived inPaterson before moving to West Paterson. She was a resident of West Paterson for over 40 years before moving to Montville most recently. She was a Homemaker. Mrs. Mercadante was a parishioner of St. Bonaventure R.C. Church, Paterson. She was pre deceased by her husband James V. Mercadante. Survivors include: A son: James N. Mercadante of Towaco, N.J. Also surviving are a Daughter in Law and several Nieces and Nephews. Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa is in charge of arrangements.
