I haven't had the pleasure of knowing Rob too long, but I've had the pleasure of working with him on a few shows, sharing a few great conversations backstage, and a few better ones when we bumped into each other in the commuters lot at Ramapo. So far away, here in Brazil, we've always seen Rob as a great cousin.
Everybody loves the way he used to share happiness, sometimes telling a joke, other times learning slangs in portuguese.
It's almost impossible for us to belive he passed away and it is very difficult to say anything to express all our sympathy at this moment.
He will live forever in our hearts and minds.

Rob-
I didn't expect this. I was expecting to see you around this summer in the shop. I just wish that I had gotten a chance to say goodbye. I will never forget you, or your sense of humor.
To Rob's Family-
I worked with Rob backstage on many shows at Ramapo since he started with "Top Girls". I know how great of a person he was. If you need anything feel free to contact me. I regret not being at the viewing on Friday; unfortunately I didn't receive word of his passing until about 10:30 Friday night. I was however at the service. I am thankful for that chance to say goodbye. Rob was a good friend. He had one of the best senses of humor I've ever seen, as well as one of the biggest hearts; it was made of pure gold. The world has truly lost a great and promising young man. I am so glad for the opportunity to have had Rob in my life, although it was for all to short a time.
All I can say is that God must be putting on a show that only Rob could pull off.
I do have one request of anyone who can give me more information on his passing please e-mail me at Rprokop@ramapo.edu or PeteyRJ@aol.com
I really need to know more for my piece of mind. Thank You
Your smile was so genuine and sincere, and you enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. I suppose the good really do die young, because Rob was one of the best. I only regret not being able to see him fulfill all the potential I know he had, because it just radiated from him.
Rob I miss you, and I'll always remember the good times. No make that the best times.
Rob I miss you, and so does "the wife" (lol) but I'll let her say anything she needs to on her own.
I miss you.

Rob was the nicest kid anymore who reads this could ever hope to meet. I practically live at his house in the summer. We met when he and his brother Michael would stay at their grandfathers when they were little. We must have hung out for almost every day all through grammar school. I remember robs knack for building and creative thinking when he was a little kid Rob wanted to be an inventor, and he was. He would think of things and be able to create them like it was nothing. Rob was a Great friend. He came to be more of a Brother then a friend. He never hesitated to lend a hand. He would give you the shirt off his back if you asked. I don’t think I have a memory of Rob that doesn’t make me smile. I feel rob is in a good place because nothing totally bad could happen to a person this good. Our hearts are never ready to share a time like this, but still we reach out in our sadness and in our love to hold each other close and reminisce....
We tell our saved-up stories of good days and well-remembered years, and through our smiles and tears, we start to feel that we belong to one another all the more...
We learn again what family is for.
Our Family has lost someone very "Special"!
I have comfort in knowing that he is with someone he really didn't know on earth, but he will get to meet his Uncle Rocky now in heaven.

For Robert: I can barely make myself believe that this is all real...and how I wish that I had the power to turn it all around. I am deeply saddened that you were taken from us so early--yet I can only have the faith to believe what so many have already said -- God called for you.
Yet reading all these dedications, somehow brings a sense that you truely served a purpose in your short life - you have brought joy to so many people. I can remember so many memories when you were little that bring a smile to my face...and I know you brought many smiles to my Dad's face - how proud he is of you, his godson. I only wish that I had the chance to spend more time with you as a young man - what a fine man you have become. Now as a special angel watching over us all. I will forever keep your memory alive in my heart and your spirit present through our thoughts and stories. Love, Maria

It's hard to think of exactly what to say in Rob's memory. I still can't believe this is real. Rob was one of my close friends in the theater department. He & I shared a lot of good times...although I think I broke his heart when I started dating his rival instead of him. He & I got in trouble and schemed and worked together and hung out. We supported each other, and harrassed each other endlessly. I saw him change and mature during the year I spent at Ramapo with him (I finished school in December 2003). We went to the diner, went to cast parties, and hung out in the loading dock after shows. He worked on my crew MANY times and bailed me out many times, I knew I could always count on him. The last time he & I hung out was probably the last time he bailed me out...a benefit concert on April 4th...the last time I talked to him...May 22nd...he was looking ahead in life, excited about his 21st birthday, and the last time I saw him...Tuesday afternoon as I sat in my cap and gown at graduation. Few people knew or understood the bond that he & I had...it was one that I hoped would last into old age. The one person who refered to Russ and I as husband and wife will never live to see that day...at least not from where we'd like him to be. The things I would give to have one last hug, one last insult, one last squeal from him picking me up, but most importantly one last goodbye, face to face. But I guess, like Russ said, G-d needed some helped with his moving lights and Rob was the only one who could fix them. -- In Jewish tradition you pray for someone for 11 months after their death to get their soul safely through hell to heaven...their journey is proportionate in length to the sins they have to repent...Rob, I know you won't need prayers for that long, for your heart was so good, and you cared so much. You never meant to hurt and did everything you could to help in any situation. May your journey be safe and quick. --

You may not have known how many friends you had or how much of an impact you made on the essex county area but you did kiddo. We all miss you. Its gonna be a sad birthday with out you! Dear Rob, Everyday I look for you to come home. I have left everything for you the same. I know you would have a fit if I moved your stuff. Everyone is waiting for you. I hope you know how much we love you even though you drove us crazy, but I would do it all again just to hold you. I think that is the worst, that I couldn't be there to hold you my baby. I was there on the first minute of your life and I should have been there at the end. You have a wonderful group of friends that I wish I could have known better in your life. Why did you have to keep them apart, I would have loved to fuss over them. That's what moms do. I will keep talking to you everyday and one of these days I will hear back from you...I know you will find a way. I LOVE you with all my heart for ever and ever. Hey Ra,
I cant believe that this happened. every night I go to bed hoping that I'll wake up and this nightmare will end. But I hope where you are know is just like Pt. Licosa. I hope you are having lots of fun fixing things and hanging out with Nonno. You deserve the best up there. Also Even though your gone I wan't you to stay with me weather its in my dreams or if you haunt me when I'm alone. And I don't care what anyone says because I know you have been with me already. Like at graduation when I pointed to the sky and instantley felt good and felt that you were proud of me just like how I was proud of you at yours. Now that you are gone I will have a huge empty spot in me for the rest of my life but the only thing that feels right is to live in your example. So like you did, I will live life to the fullest, be my own person no matter what people say, and every good thing I do is dedicated to you because you did so much for me and I only wish I had more time to pay you back. Also even though its going to be very hard I am going to try to be strong in honor of you because you were never sad for long and you wouldn't want us to be just like I wouldn't want you to be. You are and will always be my big bro. The lessons I learned from you are more valuable to me than gold. Like whent you do somthing give it all youve got. Because of the Love you gave me I am in a lifetime of debt to you. And I know I've been asking this a lot of you but please stay with me, mommy, daddy, and the rest of the family because we will be all so empty with out you. You are angel know so what ch over us. You see not everybody can have an older brother who is an angel. But I would give anything to have you back. I Love you Robert! We will always be brothers and best friends! I love you Bree!
P.S. They stoped rout 80 for you bro! I know you loved that!!!

I had the pleasure of meeting and knowing Rob for only a few years, but his warm spirit and addictive smile have affected me since then and will always be with me. He would go out of his way to make us laugh when he sensed that we were feeling down.
