Gloor, Frank E, age 84 of Totowa, died on Friday, April 13 at home. Born in Totowa on February 2, 1928, he lived there his entire life. Frank was a volunteer fireman in the Totowa Fire Department for 63 years, having served as Assistant Chief and President of Lincoln Fire Company as well as a member of Totowa Exempt Firemen's Association and a Life Member of the Totowa First Aid Squad. As a child, he was a member of the Sons of the American Legion as well as a Boy Scout. During World War II he was a surveyor in the US Army Air Force. Following that, he and his parents founded Boro Supply Company. He was an ordained deacon of the former Central Presbyterian Church in Paterson as well as a member of American Legion Post 227 and the Totowa Happy Seniors. Frank is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Bernice (nee Maas), daughter Sharon and husband Tony of Totowa, son Frank A. and wife Lorella also of Totowa; grandchildren Lisa, Jessica & Michael Hoffman and Erin, Elizabeth, Daniela & Frank A.J. Gloor. He is the brother-in-law of Joan and Sal Laurice and is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Wednesday at 10:00 AM. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
